1. Using the Services

These Terms govern your use of the JD Align candidate site ("Services"). JD Align provides a platform that allows employers to receive and review applications. JD Align is not the employer for roles listed on this site. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Applications and AI Matching

JD Align uses automated systems to compare resumes against job criteria defined by employers. AI matching is advisory only and does not make final hiring decisions.

Employers independently review applications and make all hiring decisions. JD Align does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of your resume and application content. You grant JD Align a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and share your content with relevant hiring organizations for recruitment purposes and service improvement.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and lawful.

3A. Employer Responsibility

Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of job listings, role descriptions, and hiring decisions. JD Align does not verify the completeness or accuracy of employer-provided information.

4. No Guarantees

JD Align does not guarantee job outcomes, employer responses, uninterrupted service, or complete accuracy of listings or AI outputs.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JD Align is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for hiring decisions made by third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, JD Align's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to AUD $1,000.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

Submit false or misleading information.
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
Use automated means to scrape or extract data.
Upload malicious or unlawful content.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or misuse.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, banner or email). Continued use means you accept the changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
